LA LIGA FC FUTURES 2025
Champions’ Dreams
27, 28 and 29 december. Gran Canaria Stadium, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Every year, when the winter sun returns and our mild climate settles in, a huge number of young athletes arrive on the island. They are the footballers of LALIGA FC FUTURES, one of the main sporting events hosted by Gran Canaria. LALIGA FC FUTURES has become the most important under-13 football tournament in the world. And that’s no joke! Year after year, the best youth academies of the best football clubs participate in this children’s tournament, which closes out the year by bringing together a multitude of boys who are already promising talents in global sport.
If you want to see the Stars of the Future, they will be in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a few kilometers from Las Canteras beach, in a giant display of colorful shirts that perfectly complements the Christmas lights of Gran Canaria. Sprints uphill, sprints downhill, penalties, passes, offsides, a bump on the head—all the excitement of live matches. There will be only one champion team, but all the children will be champions. And they’ll treasure the fun days they spent in southern Gran Canaria. Do your little ones love football? They’ll surely love going to the LALIGA FC FUTURES matches.
PS: The referee, the tall man in the orange shirt, is not Father Christmas.
LA LIGA FC FUTURES
World Football’s Future Stars in Gran Canaria
LALIGA FC FUTURES has become the most important under-13 football tournament in the world. In 2014, LaLiga and the José Ramón de la Morena Foundation began working together, and this tournament was born from that partnership. Year after year, the best youth academies in the world participate in this children’s football tournament, making it the perfect showcase for the great promises of world football.
Every December, during the Christmas season, Gran Canaria becomes the host of the LaLiga FC Futures International Tournament. This event brings together the most important youth academies on the planet, where the best international under-13 team is crowned each year. This sporting event positions the island as a benchmark for football on an international level. For a few days, Gran Canaria becomes the epicenter of top-level youth football. The island’s climate, combined with the quality of its sports facilities, creates the ideal mix for this international football tournament to return to the island with great enthusiasm every Christmas, allowing participants to also enjoy the delights of Gran Canaria, a continent in miniature.
